Independent accreditation of healthcare facilitiesGeorgia had no form of facility accreditation. PHIG campaigned from 2014, ran a pilot with Accréditation Sans Frontières in 2021–22, and in 2022 a ministerial order made independent international accreditation mandatory for state-funded hospitals.
