PHIG grows through people who give expertise, time or partnership. Every route below is open now, and every application receives a reasoned reply within 30 working days (Policy 61, Policy 32).
Join the expert pool
Reviewers for the Georgian Medical Journal, assessors for Sheni Labs verdicts and certificate.ge, course authors for GMJ Academy, members of the Scientific Committee and of the RHWCO and Health and Migration observatories. Pro bono; named publicly only with your consent; declaration of interests required (Policy 01). Send a short CV and the platform you want to contribute to.
Internships and fellowships
Students and early-career professionals in public health, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, law, data science and communication: three- to six-month placements with the journal, the Academy, the observatories, GILS or Sheni Labs, supervised, with a defined output (a working paper, a dataset, a course, a verdict). Unpaid unless a grant funds the post; expenses reimbursed where budgets allow (Policy 14).
Vacancies and consultancies
Paid positions and consultancies are advertised here and on the network’s sites when funded; selection is by open call with pre-set criteria and a mixed panel. There are no open paid vacancies at present; expressions of interest for grant-funded roles (research officers, MEAL, communications, data engineering) are kept on file for 12 months.
Research partnerships
See the research agenda and open calls — eight topics with priority questions, data PHIG provides, and a rolling call.
Institutions and donors
Universities, ministries, WHO and UN agencies, professional bodies and funders: the goal to 2030, the policy framework, the legal status and the financial sustainability pages give everything needed for due diligence; write to arrange a conversation.
