Its goal to 2030 is a health system for Georgia and its region that is evidence-based, competence-based and quality-assured. PHIG publishes the open-access Georgian Medical Journal and GMJ News, runs GMJ Academy (200+ free courses), the Georgian Institute of Labour Studies, Sheni Labs and SupplementIndex, the SheniEkimi certification programme, and two observatories on health workforce competencies and on health and migration; it is the official representative of Accreditation Canada in Georgia and the alliance partner of Accréditation Sans Frontières. Its public information reaches about five million readers a month through the Sheni network. PHIG operates under a published 75-policy framework and accepts no funding from the tobacco, nicotine, vaping or arms industries.
